Welcome to Glada Jyckar (”Happy Mutts”)! With us you and your dog can develop and have fun together! We offer companion dog training classes, seminars and lectures, individual training sessions and other exciting and educational dog related activities in several locations in Stockholm, for instance in Bromma, Årsta, Täby and also Online. At Ålstensgatan we also have a small shop where you can find a selection of dog food, treats, toys, harnesses and leashes amongst other things. In addition, we offer behaviour modification consultations and trainings.
All our activities are based on positive training methods with the dog’s well-being as the basis. Through well planned exercises, we help the dogs succeed and we reward / reinforce the behaviors we want. Through modern knowledge of the dog’s behavior and needs, as well as basic learning theory, training becomes effective. We are members of the “Swedish Dog Entrepreneur Society” (www.sverigeshundforetagare.se), which is an industry organization for dog psychologists and professional dog trainers who work with positive training methods. We abstain from all aversive methods including both physical and mental threat and violence.
Our training classes are held in Swedish but we’re happy to provide individual training sessions in English. If you know the basics of Swedish you are welcome to attend a training class (held in Swedish) and get partial support in English.

We are members of Sveriges Hundföretagare and all trainers and dog behaviourists are certified. We continuously seek to improve our skills and knowledge and we frequently attend various dog related trainings, conferences and seminars in order to further deepen our expertise.
